Firmware Engineer for R&D Department

 

Our client is the leading innovator and supplier of Automated Plug and Play Produce functionality. Since the founding in 2011 our client is using an expanding network of global partners to support the growing market. Headquarters are located in Copenhagen.

To strengthen the R&D Department, our client is now looking for a firmware engineer who will be responsible for dealing with test, implementation and technical errors of the firmware structure.

R&D Department in a fast growing company

You will become part of a dynamic and ambitious start-up company, with dedicated employees who are all focused on developing the unique technology. You will have a central role in the project team consisting of the mechanical designers and software engineers, and you will be in close contact with technical support for product optimization and will refer initially directly to the CEO.

Main tasks

  • Firmware programming
  • Implementation of control software for platform 2.0/proximity sensor as well as communication protocols (RS458, IO-link)
  • Firmware programming for test of prototypes and drivers for hardware
  • Documentation
  • Test and trial run of robot systems
  • Knowledge sharing with colleagues

Technical qualifications and experience

You have a relevant technical education, for instance as an engineer, supplemented with work experience with firmware for 4-5 years. It is important that you have experience with C-programming, Python and Unit-test. Furthermore, it is an advantage if you are familiar with robot cinematic and Linex.
Additionally you speak and write English and Danish at a proficient professional level.

It is essential that you are able to work both independently and in teams and that you possess a high level of discipline and self-motivation.
